End to darkness

The Alef Kabbala Group (17 July 07) discussed a discourse taught by the Lubavitcher Rebbe on Shabbat Devarim in 1964. That day was the Ninth of Av. Being Shabbat, the fast of the Ninth of Av was pushed off to the next day. The discourse, called "He put an end to darkness" speaks of the cycle of exile and redemption, and the quest to break out of the cycle in order to have the ultimate redemption. This means drawing a higher dimension of radiance into the world.
