Inspiration or Effort?

Tazria | Leviticus, Vayikra | 2 April 2019

This discourse was taught on Shabbat of Sedra Tazria in 1965 and the Rebbe edited it in 1989 for publication on 2 Nisan, the Yarzeit of Rabbi Shalom Dober Schneerson, the fifth Rebbe. The discourse concerns the relative merits of inspiration from above, and effort from below, in one's relationship with G-d.
