The Alef Kabbala Group (8 May 2012) studied a discourse which was said on Lag B'Omer in 1985, and was later edited and published for Lag B'Omer 1988. It focuses on the spiritual significance of Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, author of the Zohar, whose Yahrzeit is remembered in the celebrations of Lag B'Omer.
