The Cry to G-d

The Rebbe taught this on Sedra Vayera 1964. It explains the Haftora as it applies in our own lives. This begins (II Kings 4:1) with a widow crying to Elisha. The discourse explains, this is the soul crying out to G-d.  She says 'my husband', ishi , in Hebrew a word similar to fire, 'is dead': her fire of spiritual passion has 'died'.  The soul of each one of us can cry out to G-d with this complaint...
