Ve Ata Tetzaveh

Tetzaveh | Exodus, Shemos

The Alef Kabbala Group (19 June 07, 3 Tammuz, the Yahrzeit of the Rebbe) discussed a discourse taught by the Lubavitcher Rebbe on Shabbat Tetzaveh in 1981. This was edited and published in 1992, and was the last discourse the Rebbe edited. It is seen as bearing a special final message from the Rebbe, and in fact it concerns the relationship between a Jewish leader and his followers. Moses is the paradigm of Jewish leadership, and he bonded the Jewish people to G-d. In the same way, through the generations, a Jewish leader bonds the people to G-d and to each other, by helping them reveal the essence of their soul.
