The Alef Kabbala Group (7 May 2013) studied the Lubavitcher Rebbe's discourse taught on Shabbat Bemidbar, 1966. This discusses a verse from the Haftorah in Hosea (ch.2), which speaks of the 'number' of the Jewish people, being beyond number. This leads to a discussion of the relationship of the finite and the infinite, and the task to draw the infinite into the finite, which is the inner meaning of the Giving of the Torah.
