Rosh Hashanah as the annual renewal of the spiritual life-force that continuously recreates the universe, comparing G-d's creative energy to a pulse. On this day we rededicate ourselves to our task as the Jewish people: to reveal G-dliness in the world and serve as the conduit for Divine blessing.
