Behaalotecha Et Hanerot
This discourse was taught by the Lubavitcher Rebbe on Shabbat Behaalotecha in 1969. In 1991 he edited the discourse and it was published with the title Kuntras 15 Sivan, recognising the day the Previous Rebbe was arrested in 1927 for his work strengthening Judaism among Soviet Jewry; he was miraculously released on 12 Tammuz that year. The discourse concerns the lamps of the golden Menorah as they signify the Jewish people, the different lamps signifying differing styles of service of G-d. The task of Aaron is to help souls whose inner illumination has become hidden to shine with their own light, and to illuminate others.
