Travelling On Clouds

This discourse was delivered by the Rebbe on Shabbat Rosh Chodesh Cheshvan, Parshat Noach, 5727 (1966). The Haftorah describes people flocking to the rebuilt Temple every Rosh Chodesh in the Messianic era, with the Sages saying they will 'travel on clouds'. The discourse explores the deeper meaning of this by contrasting ordinary weekdays, Shabbat, Rosh Chodesh and Festivals, explaining why the Messianic era will produce a more frequent and profound divine revelation.
