Repentance And Joy

This discourse was delivered by the Rebbe on Shabbat Chol HaMoed Succot, 5727 (1966). The verse 'And you shall draw water with joy, from the fountains of liberation' is linked to the great Joy of the Water Drawing in the Temple during Succot. The discourse explains that the extraordinary joy of Succot comes from the revelation on this festival of all that was drawn in and concealed during Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur, including the power of true repentance now revealed in joy.
